Customers can now use a QR code from their profile in the mobile version of Make It Butter to quickly identify themselves at the restaurant.
How it works
When a customer arrives at the restaurant, they can open their customer profile on the Make It Butter website and show their QR code to the server.
The server can then scan the QR code using the POS camera. The customer’s profile will be pulled up and automatically assigned to the order.
This makes it faster to identify the customer without searching for their name or other details.
For the customer
The customer simply needs to:
Open their profile in the Make It Butter website (or a screenshot of the QR code)
Display their QR code.
Show the QR code to the server.
For the server
Open the customer scanning option on the POS.
Use the POS camera to scan the customer's QR code.
The customer's profile will be pulled up and assigned to the order.
